Tenkara fishing

This ancestral Japanese technique is perfectly suited to Pyrenean rivers and torrents. It’s the simplest version of our fly fishing: a rod, a braided line body, a declining line and a fly.

Sensation and softness define tenkara quite well, a technique on which I had a real crush. I’ve been fishing tenkara for 6 years now with the Expert model and the woven line J-P Thébault for dry fishing.

I tested it with different people, I recommend this technique for women, children and all those who want to discover fly fishing. But beware, the gestures are completely different!
