Dry fly fishing is my favorite technique because it involves all the senses. I like to say that I “hunt lady fario” under the branches. On the other hand, it is the most demanding because no mistakes are allowed. It requires an adapted French gesture, also effecient for mountain lakes. The material that I use today in the river is a Marryat Tactical 10 feet 3/4 silk rod.
The flies are homemade during the long winter evenings and it’s also a friendly moment that I share with the fishermen.

New: Introduction to double traction
You are going on an exotic fishing trip, you want to fish in reservoirs or in mountain lakes: this initiation to double traction is for you!
Indeed, many fishermen find it difficult to throw far because of a lack of technique or because of unsuitable equipment. I suggest that you solve this problem during a day of initiation to double traction, an essential gesture to throw far dry flies, nymphs, chiros or large streamers. I provide you with quality equipment and all my knowledge to initiate or advance you in this technique.
Equipment
- MARRYAT Tactical Bonefish 9 ′ # 8 rod. This rod is perfect for launching large streamers for exotic fishing but also for fishing bass in the Atlantic or predator in our lakes and rivers.
- MARRYAT Tactical Pro 9.6 ′ # 6 rod. This rod allows fishing with small streamers and dry flies in rivers, mountain lakes and reservoirs.

Prices
110 € / half day for 1 person.
For several fishermen: consult me for a preferential rate.
The price does not include the fishing license (compulsory) and the 6 € daily card (compulsory and nominative) which will be taken before going to the reservoir (300 m distance between the 2).
The service
The day begins at 9 am at the Orleix reservoir (possibility to meet at a different meeting point) and includes equipment (cane and silk), flies and streamer, coffee and morning croissant. The first part of the morning is dedicated to specific equipment (description, action, choice of floating, flowing silks …, leader, flies and streamers), approach of the environment and the second part to the launch. In the afternoon: we fish together! This program can vary depending on the level of each.
